Big Band – Blue Note

Classic “Blue Note” style 1950s bluesy head with a bit more modern sophisticated harmony. Lots of interplay between the sections and a swinging double shout. Unexpected rhythmic and arranging shifts plus detailed phrasing keep it interesting. Think Art Blakey big band, but brought up to date.
